About Z's Deli

    Zeidan Zeidan immigrated to Duluth in 1978 from his home country of Lebanon. Even though initially he was unable to speak English, Zeidan made use of a strong sense of pride and entrepreneurship in his new home.

    In a seemingly short amount of time, "Z" had gone from being a bakery owner in his native Lebanon to being a busboy at Williams on London Road and a cook at Sambo's. From there, Z became a manager and later, an owner of Loui's Snack Bar, which was eventually renamed Z's Snack Bar. After a few years passed and having owned Mariner Landing Restaurant for a short time, Z purchased what is now Z's Deli and Restaurant in 1988.

    Z's has a great balance of Mid-Eastern and American food served by staff who are considered more of a family than as employees. The whole Z's family believes that the customer is number one and they pride themselves on their fast and professional service.
